Jagran correspondent, Badaun. SIR work has been completed in the district. The extended time of four days also ended. During this period, all the BLOs of the district had given the list of ASD voters to the BLAs of the parties. Everyone together tried to find these ASDA voters. But no objection or claim was presented from anywhere.
Now the provisional voter list will be published on Tuesday. Out of which the names of 4.94 lakh voters are sure to be left out of the list. The Intensive Revision Campaign (SIR) being run by the Election Commission is going on since November 4. This campaign has ended on 26 December.
The date of provisional publication was now extended to January 6. Before the final publication, the election and administration once again organized meetings of BLO and BLA at every booth. On Sunday and Monday, meetings regarding SIR were organized by the Election Department at all 2580 booths of the district.
Representatives of political parties, BLA (Booth Level Agent) and BLO (Booth Level Officer) participated in these meetings. The voter list of the concerned booth was handed over to the BLA by the BLO, in which the names of the voters who have not yet filled the SIR form or have been left out of the list in various categories were marked.
Instructions were given that if the voter is dead then the same should be informed and the forms of those who have missed filling should be filled. But, during this time, no such person was found, from whom, as per the earlier list, only the names of 4.94 lakh voters will be removed from the provisional list and published.
Let us tell you that till now the list has been released by the administration in which 17,62,004 voters have been mapped after the SIR work against the total 24,18,408 voters in the district, which is 91.64 percent as per the census received. After digitalization, a total of 4,94,561 voters have appeared in the missing enumeration papers and ASD category. Of these, 82,097 were found dead, 1,87,014 absent, 1,75,403 transferred and 43,316 voters were found to be duplicate.
