According to hoteliers, the first snowfall of the season may give a boost to the tourism business. At the same time, farmers and gardeners are also considering this snowfall as beneficial for apple and other crops.
The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate snowfall in higher altitude areas and rain in lower areas during the next 24 hours. There are also indications of further increase in cold.
