Stone pelting on Rajdhani Express in Bhagalpur
Jagran correspondent, Navgachia. The glass of H-1 bogie of train number 12424 Rajdhani Express going from New Delhi to Dibrugarh was broken due to stone pelting near Kataria station. This incident created panic among the passengers sitting in the first class bogie.
The escort party present in the train informed Navgachia RPF about the incident. The train left Navagachia at 12:18 pm and reached Kataria station around 12:27 pm. The passengers became frightened due to stone pelting.
Warned of legal action
RPF conducted awareness campaign in Kumadpur, Madrauni, Sadhua, Chapar and other villages, in which people were warned of legal action.
RPF Inspector Munna Kumar Pasi said that the matter is being investigated and it will be revealed soon. Incidents of stone pelting have already happened between Navgachia and Katihar.
