Jagran correspondent, Kanpur Dehat. A girl committed suicide by hanging herself in a village in Akbarpur. The relative has accused the neighbor of harassment but has not filed the complaint yet. The police investigated.
A village farmer said that his 17-year-old daughter committed suicide by hanging herself with a dupatta at home on Friday. When the relatives went into the room to call him, they saw the dead body turned and there was crying and wailing.
Police and forensic team investigated. The relative alleged that a young man was harassing her. Akbarpur police station incharge Harmeet Singh said that the neighbor has been accused of harassment on behalf of the relative.
Investigation revealed that there was talk of marriage at one place and there was friendship with the young man. The complaint has not been given yet. Action will be taken on the basis of complaint and post mortem report.
