The Accused Who Supplied Weapons From Madhya Pradesh To The Gangsters Of Delhi-NCR Was Arrested, Pistol And Magazine Recovered.

Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. The Special Cell team has arrested an accused who was bringing weapons from Madhya Pradesh and supplying them to the gangsters and notorious miscreants of Delhi-NCR. The accused has been identified as Manpal of Morena, Madhya Pradesh, from whose possession 11 semi-automatic pistols of .32 bore and 11 additional magazines were recovered.

The police is interrogating this and further investigation by inquiring about the main supplier and the supplier miscreants.

Dealers from Madhya Pradesh were bringing illegal weapons

According to Deputy Commissioner of Special Cell, Aalap Patel, the team had received information about the supply of illegal weapons being brought to Delhi-NCR by arms manufacturers and dealers of Madhya Pradesh. On information, a team was formed under the supervision of ACP Neeraj Kumar and under the leadership of Inspector Ranjit Singh and Inspector Sanjeev Kumar.

Investigation revealed that gangsters and notorious criminals were purchasing advanced weapons from arms suppliers of Madhya Pradesh. After more than a month of investigation, some members of this syndicate were identified. After this, on December 9, secret information was received that Manpal, a member of this arms syndicate, had purchased a consignment of pistols from Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh and was going to deliver it in Sarai Kale Khan area.

On receiving information, the team laid a trap and caught him late on December 9. Upon search, illegal weapons were recovered from his possession.

Had brought more than 25 pistols

During interrogation, he told that the recovered weapons were purchased from an arms supplier in Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh and were to be further supplied to notorious criminals of Delhi-NCR. He also told that he had brought more than 25 pistols from Madhya Pradesh and supplied them.
