After this he attacked with a knife and slit his throat. The injured teenager was admitted to CHC, from where he was referred to the medical college. The teenager died during treatment, due to which his relatives started crying inconsolably. The accused youth lived in a rented house nearby.
Saurabh, 17 year old son of Subhash, resident of Umrao Purva of Rura police station area, used to study while staying with his sister Ruchi Pal, resident of Ambedkar Nagar, Jhinjhak. He was standing outside the house on Sunday evening. At the same time, someone's call came and he went to Kariyajhala turn, where Anup, a resident of Kakori Lucknow, who lives in a rented house in the same locality, attacked Saurabh over some issue and slit Saurabh's throat with a knife.
With the help of passers-by, the police admitted the seriously injured teenager to the Community Health Center, where the emergency doctor, Dr. Dhirendra Kumar, after providing first aid, referred him to the medical college in view of his critical condition. The teenager died during treatment here. Due to this the relatives got upset and started crying. Inspector of Jhinjhak outpost, Ujagar Lal said that after the incident, the accused had fled from the spot and is being searched. He is said to be a resident of Kakori, Lucknow.
