The fire department issued notices to 13 institutions.
Jagran correspondent, Sahibabad. The fire department has issued notices to 13 institutions due to non-functioning of fire fighting system in Ghaziabad. The fire department team conducted a special campaign and inspected 36 institutions within seven days. In this campaign, the fire department checked such hotels, marriage ceremonies and other institutions where there is a large crowd of people.
At all these places, the fire department team found faulty fire equipment during inspection, the staff was untrained and there were no necessary arrangements to escape in case of emergency. Even before this, the fire department has issued notices to 42 institutions.
Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal said that the investigation of malls, hotels, restaurants, wedding processions and other places in the district where there is a lot of crowd of people and/or their movement is going on on the orders of the government. Special campaigns are being carried out by the fire department at these places to investigate what relief measures are there in case of fire and what arrangements are there to evacuate people safely.
Fire department issues notice to eight institutions
On Friday, the fire department issued notices to eight institutions. These institutions include Kimaya Banquet Hall located at Pandav Nagar, Pritam Farm located at Govindpuram, Marshall Palace located at Pandav Nagar, Loni Pusta Riviera Banquet Hall, Lekhraj Farm House of Banthala Loni, Bandhan Banquet of Loni Pusta, Shri Ram Palace of Loni Indirapur, Darshan Hotel of Khoda, LX Town, Baba Banquet Hall, Invitation Palace of Bhaupura and Grand Ashirwad Hotel and Banquet.
The CFO said that the fire department inspected the fire fighting arrangements in malls, hotels, banquet halls and marriage homes in the district from January 8 to January 14. A total of 36 locations were inspected, out of which deficiencies in the system were found at 13 locations.
Due to this, notices have been issued to him. Along with this, the employees working at all the places were also trained on how to operate fire fighting equipment and what to do in case of fire.
