Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has laid the foundation of comprehensive and far-reaching changes in the field of education in Uttar Pradesh and has strengthened such an educational model, which is becoming a medium to provide opportunities to the weakest section of the society.
Under the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Atal Residential Schools established in all 18 mandals of the state are giving a new direction to the lives of workers and children of low income group. In its second phase, a concrete plan for the expansion of 'CM Abhyudaya Vidyalaya' is being implemented. This effort is laying the foundation of the modern Gurukul model, which is ensuring holistic development of students as per the needs of the future by incorporating the values of ancient tradition.
It is noteworthy that the work of establishment of CM Abhyudaya Vidyalayas is being done under the second phase through the Education Department in the state. In the third phase, there are preparations to take CM Abhyudaya Vidyalayas to 825 bodies of the state and in the fourth phase to about 8000 Nyaya Panchayats.
Its objective is to ensure that every child of the state is educated and contributes to building a prosperous India. Principal of Atal Residential School, Lalitpur, Jiya Lal said that free education is being provided to the students in the school through qualified and experienced teachers. This step taken by the government with the aim of bringing the children of workers into the mainstream is unique. This is improving the future of children.
Atal residential schools changed the lives of students
Atal Residential Schools, started by the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government, have emerged as 'modern Gurukul' for the children of labor families. At present 18 Atal Residential Schools are running successfully in all 18 divisions. A target has been set to expand them to all 75 districts of the state.
In these schools, children of registered construction workers, children orphaned due to Corona epidemic and children covered under Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana are being provided completely free education, food, accommodation, uniform, books and medical facilities. The curriculum of these schools is CBSE based.
It has modern STEM labs, smart classrooms, laboratories and sports facilities. The students studying in this school are proving that when given an opportunity, talent from any category can perform well.
Empowerment of society is possible only through education
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has a clear view that empowerment of the society is possible only through education. Efforts like Atal Residential School and CM Abhyudaya Vidyalaya are the result of this thinking.
Through these schemes, children from labourers, deprived and rural backgrounds are getting a platform which even their families could not imagine earlier. This model of the government is not only strengthening equality in the field of education, but is also going to provide skilled, self-reliant and talented youth power to the state in the coming years.
