Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. 65-year-old Bhagwan Swaroop, resident of Kailashnagar Nagar, Vijaynagar, was admitted in a critical condition in the emergency of District MMG Hospital in Ghaziabad on Friday. After investigation he was declared dead.

It was told that the patient had serious liver disease. Five serious patients were referred to a higher center. The number of patients suffering from cough, fever, joint pain, pneumonia and viral infections is increasing in OPD. 3331 patients reached the OPD of the three hospitals.

A total of 543 sick children reached the OPD of District MMG Hospital, Joint Hospital located at Sanjaynagar and Dundahera Hospital. Among 342 fever patients, 54 were children.

Physician Dr. Santram Verma said that more patients are arriving with complaints of difficulty in breathing, fever, cough and chest pain. His advice is that due to change in weather there is a need to be cautious. Drink hot water and do yoga at home.

Sample counter increased as patients increase

With the increase in the number of patients in the District MMG Hospital, a new separate counter has been created to collect samples for blood testing. Lab technicians have been deployed at the counter. Two counters are already running.

Made students aware about prevention of TB

The Health Department team on Friday made girl students and teachers aware about TB prevention under the TB eradication program at Thakurdwara Public School. Hundreds of girl students participated in the program. The Principal gave information to the girl students about TB eradication under the 100 Day Campaign. Health workers Neeraj Kumar and Shanti Rana gave detailed information about the symptoms, treatment and prevention of TB.

Young man's leg cut while boarding train, condition critical

A young man's leg was cut while boarding the train on platform number two of the railway station. The young man was immediately admitted to the emergency of District MMG Hospital. After examination, seeing the condition as serious, the doctors referred him to Higher Center Delhi. The young man was boarding a passenger train towards Delhi. He fell after losing his balance. The name of the young man is Faizi Hussain. He is a resident of Badaun.
