Jagran correspondent, Naugaon. In the Dharmapur Gaushala of Kaudiya village, the tiger attacked twice in the last three days and made two cows its victims. Due to continuous attacks in this cow shed located on the edge of the forest, not only the cow shed management but also the villagers of the entire area are in panic.

The first incident took place on the night of 17 February. The tiger crossed the high fence on the eastern side of the cow shed in a single jump and killed a calf tied inside. The villagers and employees had not yet recovered from the fear of this attack when on the night of Thursday, 19 February, the tiger again attacked the cowshed in the same manner. This time the tiger made a cow its victim.

People were shocked to see the scene

When the employees reached the cowshed in the morning, they were shocked to see the scene there. Villagers say that Dharmapur Gaushala is adjacent to the forest border due to which there is frequent movement of predatory wildlife here. The Gram Panchayat had made all efforts to raise and strengthen the fence for the safety of the cows, but all these arrangements of the administration are proving to be dwarf in comparison to the power of the tiger.
