The Youth Arrived With Appointment Letters In The Income Tax And Social Welfare Department, Were Stunned After Hearing The Response Of The Officers; Cheating From 3 Unemployed People Of Hasanpur

A case of embezzlement of Rs 10.70 lakh has come to light from unemployed youth who were preparing for jobs after passing graduation examination by luring them with government jobs. The police is investigating the matter by registering an FIR on the orders of the CO.

Rs 10.70 lakh snatched from three youth in Hasanpur in the name of job

Manveer, resident of Satida Etmali village of Kotwali area, had passed his graduation examination in the year 2023. His friends Pushpendra and Nanha, residents of village Kudaina Chak of Gajraula police station area, were also preparing for government jobs after completing their graduation. Kapil, a resident of Soharka village of Hasanpur Kotwali, used to visit Manveer's house.

Kapil told Manveer that he was acquainted with Sunil Kumar, a resident of Jebra village of Raha police station area. On the pretext of getting government jobs for the three youths, he promised to get Rs 7 lakh from Manveer, Rs 5.5 lakh from Nanha and Rs 5.5 lakh from Pushpendra.

Gave fake appointment letters from different departments

All three youths agreed to get a government job. Manveer was given a fake appointment letter of Jal Nigam Department, Lucknow and was taken to Lucknow and also got his medical done. Rs 5.20 lakh were given to him twice, Pushpendra was given fake appointment letter of Social Welfare Department and Nanha was given fake appointment letter of Income Tax Department. Three lakh rupees were taken from Pushpendra and two and a half lakh rupees were taken from Nanha.

Police are investigating the matter after registering an FIR.

When the three youths reached the respective departments and showed them the appointment letters, the officials told them that there was no recruitment anywhere in their departments and the appointment letters given to them were fake. The victim youth met CO Pankaj Kumar Tyagi by submitting an application and demanding action. On the orders of the CO, the Kotwali police has registered an FIR.

Inspector in-charge Prempal Singh says that an FIR is being registered against those who cheat in the name of job and investigation is being done.

The money was given in front of the village people

Hasanpur. Victim Manveer alleges that on July 7, 2025, Kapil had brought Sunil Kumar and another unknown youth with him to his house. In front of some people of the village, the three youths had given him money for the job. Due to lack of job, a Panchayat was also held in the village on 10 October 2025. In which the accused assured to return their money. But the amount has not been returned yet.
