Jagran correspondent, Shahjahanpur. Kamlesh alias Kallu, resident of Rawatpur village of Alhaganj, was murdered by crushing his face with a brick. On Saturday morning, his body was found lying in the verandah of the Panchayat building, some distance away from the house. Kamlesh had gone out for an evening walk with his neighbor friend Anees. The police are interrogating him by taking him into custody.
Police officers reached the spot
SP Rajesh Dwivedi and ASP Rural Diksha Bhanware reached the spot and investigated. Kamlesh had gone out for a walk with his friend Anees who lives in the neighborhood after having dinner on Friday night but he did not return after that. The relative started the search. On Saturday morning, a blood soaked body was found lying in the verandah of the Panchayat building, 100 meters away from the house. The face was crushed.
Relatives deny any enmity
The villagers informed the police about the incident. Kamlesh used to work as a laborer at a brick kiln. His father Jitendra told that he has no enmity with anyone. Kamlesh's mobile was found in the room of the house itself. Police have taken Anees into custody for questioning. It is being told that Anees was also under the influence of alcohol at night. However, Kamlesh's father told that his son did not take any kind of drug.
