Digital Desk, New Delhi. More than 150 American fighter jets were landed in Venezuela's capital Caracas yesterday and President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were taken prisoner. The news of American attack on Venezuela is continuously making headlines. At the same time, now America's Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio has given a strict warning to all the countries.
Marco Rubio says that the action taken against Venezuela is a message to the governments and leaders of all the countries of the world that whoever works against the national interests of America will also face the same fate.
"Maduro was not the right president for Venezuela, and that's not just us," Rubio told the media after Trump announced the invasion of Venezuela. Marco Rubio says that from Trump's first term to Biden's and then Trump's tenure, many countries including the European Union do not consider Maduro right for Venezuela.
In 2020, Maduro was indicted in the United States and a $50 million bounty was placed on him. Maduro got many opportunities, but he chose this path.
Why was action taken on Venezuela?
Marco Rubio further said, "Maduro thought he would keep playing games with America and we would do nothing. Maduro invited Iran to come to Venezuela. Seized American oil. Filled America with gangs and tried to hurt American business."
Referring to Trump, the US Secretary of State says that the 47th President of America is not a player. When he said he would do something, he would definitely do it.
