Those accused of harassing a loving couple and extorting money at ATL ground in Pratapgarh have been arrested.
Jagran correspondent, Pratapgarh. Such a gang is also active in the district, which, apart from doing obscene acts, used to extort money from lovers who were talking in a public place. Dehat Kotwali Police has arrested the gangsters of Badanpur Katra for doing obscene acts and extorting money from a couple seen at ATL ground.
Used to take money for not making videos and sending them to family members
For a long time, these people used to sexually assault young men and women coming to ATL ground and then used to make videos and threaten to send them to their family members. Used to extort money from relatives for not sending videos. Some complaints had reached the police.
Inspector filed a case as a plaintiff
Taking cognizance of the complaints, the police was alert and searching for such people in civil dress. Three people were found by the police on Saturday. After catching them, Kotwali Dehat Inspector Rohit Singh himself filed a case as the plaintiff.
These are the arrested people
In this regard, SO Pushpraj Singh of Kotwali Dehat said that the accused include Pradeep son of Santlal, Ankush Singh son of Dinesh Pratap Singh, Munna Gautam alias Hari Prasad. Strict action will be taken against everyone. Those who commit crimes will not be spared.
