Roads will be repaired at a cost of Rs 364 crore.
Jagran correspondent, Jaunpur. To make travel easier, 15 roads will be widened at a cost of Rs 364 crore. A proposal to repair the roads was sought from the government, which was sent by PWD. After sanctioning Rs 163 crore for the work on the proposal, the tender process has been started by the department.
In this, mainly roads including Khetasarai to Khutahan, Singramau to Gauramafi and Sarai Mohiuddinpur to Patti Narendrapur road have been included. With the increase in the number of vehicles, narrow roads are becoming a hindrance in traffic. भारी-भरकम बजट से जहां सड़कों का कायाकल्प होगा वहीं आमजन को भी सुविधा मिलेगी।
The survey of roads under the provincial section was conducted long ago. Many roads have already been repaired by the department.
However, due to less width of some roads, not only the traffic gets affected but common people also have to face problems. In such a situation, the problem will be resolved soon.
Some link roads have also been included in the road widening campaign. Apart from this, preparations have also been made to repair the dilapidated roads under Construction Block and Construction Block-2. These will include those roads where work has not been done for a long time.
