Tejashwi's gesture, Tej Pratap's anger and Lalu family remained silent
Digital Desk, Patna. Not only legal action took place in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Friday, but the internal rift in the Lalu family also came to the fore in front of the cameras once again. On the day charges were framed against 41 people including RJD supremo Lalu Yadav in the land-for-jobs scam, a scene was seen which sparked a new discussion in the political circles.
This day was already stressful for Lalu Yadav family. On the instructions of the court, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, his sister Misa Bharti and elder son Tej Pratap Yadav reached the court physically. Whereas Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi joined the court through video conferencing due to health reasons. But what grabbed more headlines than the hearing was the face-to-face confrontation between Tejashwi and Tej Pratap.
face to face brother after months
When Tejashwi Yadav came out of the lift in the court premises with his lawyers, Misa Bharti and close friend Sanjay Yadav, then Tej Pratap Yadav arrived from the front with his advocate. The atmosphere came to a standstill for a moment. The cameras started rolling. There was no formal conversation, but what happened said it all.
Tejashwi Yadav looked towards elder brother Tej Pratap and asked about his well-being through gestures. A small human gesture, but what was seen in response was deep silence and anger clearly visible on the face. Tej Pratap Yadav's face was red, his expression was stern and his eyes were heavy. Without saying anything they moved ahead.
What is the reason for anger?
There is discussion in the political circles that Tej Pratap is angry not only with his brother but also with Sanjay Yadav, who is considered very close to Tejashwi. Tej Pratap has been using the word 'Jaichand' many times in public forums. Political experts believe that this taunt is directly aimed at Sanjay Yadav, although he never took his name.
The interesting thing was that wherever Tejashwi went to the court, Sanjay Yadav was present with him. This scene also seemed to deepen Tej Pratap's anger.
Tension has been seen before too
This is not the first time that the face-to-face confrontation between the two brothers has come into limelight. Recently, during the assembly elections, a similar scene was seen at Patna Airport also. At that time, Tej Pratap Yadav was shopping with a famous YouTuber, when Tejashwi Yadav reached there. The video of Tejashwi's light-hearted style and Tej Pratap's emotional-angry face went viral on social media.
Outside the family, yet in the center of discussion
It is noteworthy that Tej Pratap Yadav has been expelled from the party and family by Lalu Yadav himself for six years. Despite this, Tej Pratap's presence and his attitude comes into limelight in every major incident related to Lalu family.
Family politics amid legal crisis
On the one hand, the court has framed charges in the Land for Job case considering it a 'widespread criminal conspiracy', on the other hand, the broken family chemistry of the Lalu family was clearly visible in the corridors of the court. No words were spoken, but gestures, glances and facial expressions said a lot.
That day in the Delhi court was not only a legal challenge for the Lalu family, but also witnessed an emotional and political conflict.
