The CO inspected the entry points and took stock of the arrangements. He instructed the concerned police station in-charges to deploy adequate police force at the entry point and ensure regular compliance of the diversion plan.
On Saturday, CO Ravikant Semwal inspected the temporary police posts established in Barapathar, Narayan Nagar, Russian One and Two. He instructed Kotwali and Tallital police station in-charges to deploy adequate police force at the entry point for smooth traffic operations and security of tourists. After the pressure of vehicles on Haldwani Road increased and the parking space in the city became full, shuttle service from Rusi Do was also started.
Tourists will come on New Year and Christmas
CO said that a huge crowd of tourists is expected on Christmas and Thirty First. Preparations for which have been started. Instructions have been given to the subordinates to deploy adequate police force at all the diversion points and ensure 100% compliance with the diversion plan being issued.
