Jagran correspondent, Mahoba. Due to old rivalry, the cousin shot the uncle and killed him. He was declared dead in the district hospital.
However, the son of the deceased is not able to tell the reason for the incident. On the other hand, SP Prabal Pratap Singh said that investigation is being done. Four teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
60 year old Gulab Singh Parihar, resident of village Gugaura of Kabrai police station area, had gone to the fields with his brother Virendra Singh. At around eight in the evening, he was irrigating the field from a tube well. Then the family nephew Monu Singh came and fired from the pistol.
Due to which Gulab Singh got injured. He was brought to the district hospital. Here the doctor declared him dead. Deceased's son Shivam Singh told that cousin Monu Singh had shot his father. One bullet hit the head and the other one hit the chest. Due to which he died.
Superintendent of Police Prabal Pratap Singh said that a case of old enmity has come to light. No reason has been made clear yet. To arrest the accused, four teams of police station Khanna, Panwadi, Charkhari and Kabrai have been formed. The accused will be caught soon.
