Jagran correspondent, Katra. National President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), MP from Hajipur Lok Sabha constituency and Union Minister Chirag Paswan attended the holy court of Maa Vaishno Devi along with his family members on Saturday.
After reaching Mata Rani's house situated on Trikuta mountain, he performed the rituals and prayed for happiness, prosperity, peace and public welfare in the country.
Union Minister Chirag Paswan reached Katra at around 1 pm on Saturday afternoon, where he was received by administrative officials. After this he along with his family left for the darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi.
After reaching the building, he bowed his head with reverence at the feet of Mata Rani and prayed for the bright future of the countrymen. After darshan, Chirag Paswan returned to base camp Katra in the evening and left for Jammu from there. During this time, other family members were also present along with him, who received blessings from Mata Rani after having darshan.
All necessary arrangements were made by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and local administration regarding the visit of the Union Minister.
His visit passed off peacefully amid tight security arrangements. After the darshan, Chirag Paswan praised the arrangements being made for the devotees by the Shrine Board and described it as exemplary.
