Jagran Team, Kanpur. UP Fog Accident: Speeding vehicles created havoc in the first fog of the season on Saturday morning. Speeding vehicles collided due to low visibility due to fog. Six vehicles collided in Hamirpur, Unnao and Fatehpur. In this, three people died on the spot in Unnao. While five people were injured. At the same time, two people were injured in a collision between vehicles in Hamirpur and Fatehpur.

Dumper hits auto while trying to overtake bike

Near Dharkheda village on Ajgain-Mohan road, a speeding dumper, while trying to overtake the bike in the fog, hit the auto coming from the front at around seven in the morning. After the auto overturned, it got stuck in the dumper and was dragged for 20 meters. The driver ran away leaving the dumper.

These people got into an accident

In the accident, 46 year old Puttilal, resident of Maddukheda village of Ajgain area, BDC, 51 year old Ramashankar, resident of Pitambar Nagar Part 2 of Dahi area and 22 year old Priyanshu son of Dayashankar, resident of Mundera village of Ajgain area, who were sitting in the auto, died on the spot. Five were injured. The police, with the help of local people, rescued the trapped people and took them to CHC Nawabganj, from where three were referred to the district hospital.

The injured include Rajesh Kumar resident of Dhara Kheda, Makur Ajgain, driver Mo Amin resident of Ajgain, Kalyani Devi Sadar resident of Vimlesh, Sanjay Kumar resident of Gwaltoli Kanpur, and Lala resident of Maddukheda Ajgain. Rajesh, Mohd. Amin and Lala from CHC Nawabganj were referred to the district hospital. ASP Premchandra, CO Hasanganj Arvind Chaurasia also reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Traffic was disrupted for about an hour after the accident. CO Arvind Chaurasia said that the dumper has been seized. Based on the complaint, a report will be filed and further action will be taken.

Two dumpers collide in Hamirpur

Saturday morning dawned with dense fog in Hamirpur. Due to low visibility, drivers plying on other routes including Kanpur Sagar Highway had to turn on their headlights. A driver was injured in a collision between two dumpers across the Yamuna bridge at Kanpur Sagar at eight in the morning. Which was referred to Kanpur from the district hospital.

Due to reduced visibility, the speed of vehicles slowed down on Agra Lucknow Expressway and Ghaziabad Greenfield Highway. Meteorologist Dr. Amarendra Yadav said that there is a possibility of similar fog in the coming days.
