UP RERA on Friday approved 15 real estate projects worth Rs 3069 crore in Lucknow, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Agra, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Mathura and Moradabad. 3,923 residential, commercial and mixed-use units will be developed in these projects, which include flats, villas, plots and commercial shops. This decision was taken in the 195th authority meeting of UP RERA under the chairmanship of Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy.
Two residential projects in Lucknow have been approved with an investment of Rs 328.04 crore, in which a total of 414 units will be developed. Gautam Buddha Nagar has got the maximum approval of four projects. These include two residential projects in which 396 units will be constructed, while two commercial projects will develop 433 units. The total estimated cost of these four projects is Rs 1,092.19 crore.
A mixed-use project has been approved in Agra at a cost of Rs 133.17 crore, comprising 432 units. Three residential projects have been approved in Ghaziabad with a total estimated cost of Rs 1,119.22 crore and 1,193 residential units will be developed. A residential project has been approved in Aligarh at a cost of Rs 243.62 crore, in which development of 512 units is proposed.
One residential and one commercial projects have been approved in Mathura at a cost of Rs 40.61 crore, comprising 347 units. At the same time, two residential projects have been approved in Moradabad at a cost of Rs 112.25 crore, in which 196 units will be developed. UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy said this investment of Rs 3,069.10 crore will not only strengthen the construction sector but will also create new employment opportunities.
