Jagran correspondent, Kotdwar. The tiger, which was seen in the nearby villages including Gram Sabha Amalesha under Block Jahrikhaal, was tranquilized and imprisoned in a cage. Let us tell you that on December 5, the tiger attacked Urmila Devi (60 years), wife of Rajendra Singh, resident of Tokgram Dalyungaj of Gram Sabha Amalesha, when she was picking fodder leaves near the house. There was an atmosphere of panic in the village after this incident.
The team was deployed with a cage
The forest department deployed a team along with installing cages in the village. Also, veterinarian Dr. Dushyant Kumar was deployed to tranquilize the tiger. Today at around 4 o'clock in the morning, Dr. Dushyant Kumar tranquilized the tiger, after which the departmental team put the tiger in a cage and sent it to the rescue center.
