Jagran Correspondent, Dehradun: Uttarakhand Ka Mausam: The weather in Uttarakhand remains dry and bright sunshine is shining in the mountains. At the same time, fog continues in the plains. According to the Meteorological Center, the weather is likely to remain dry in all the districts of Uttarakhand on Monday. However, there is a need to be cautious regarding dense fog in the plains.
On Sunday, the weather remained dry in Dehradun and surrounding areas and there was bright sunshine in most areas. However, in the morning there was moderate to dense fog in the plains and it was cold. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may remain dry across the state on Monday.
Also, dense fog may occur at some places in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts as well as in the plains of Nainital, Champawat, Dehradun and Pauri districts.
There is a possibility of cold day conditions at some places in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts, a yellow alert has been issued regarding this. At the same time, there are signs of partial change in the weather on Tuesday.
There may be very light to light rain or snowfall at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts. Snowfall is expected in areas at altitudes of 3200 meters and above. The weather will remain dry in the remaining districts of the state on Tuesday also.
