The enthusiasm for the Peetha puja for the establishment of the world's largest Sahasra Lingam is at its peak on Saturday at the Virat Ramayan Mandir in Janaki Nagar located in Katholiya of Kalyanpur block of East Champaran district. A large crowd of Shiva devotees have started walking on the Ram Janaki Path.
Strict security arrangements have been made in the temple premises. There is a devotional atmosphere around the temple. People are chanting Shiva mantra and women are singing mangalgeet of Mahadev. After a few hours from now, the scholars coming from different areas including Mahadev's city Kashi will start the ritual of Peetha Puja. Samastipur MP Shambhavi Chaudhary and her husband Sayan Kunal are sitting as hosts. Sayan Kunal is also the secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust Patna.

Remember that on June 20, 2023, the work of Shilapujan for the construction of Virat Ramayana Temple was done under the leadership of Archay Kishore Kunal, the then Chairman of the Religious Trust Council, Patna. Since then, for one and a half years continuously, 250 laborers worked every day and erected a total of 3102 pillars from 100 feet underground.

After completing the foundation work, a base was prepared in the complex, on which today the 33 feet high and 33 feet thick Sahasralingam made in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, is to be installed.

Samrat Chaudhary has congratulated for this program through X post. He wrote, "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the devotees and people of the state on the auspicious occasion of the installation ceremony of the world's largest Shivalinga in the Virat Ramayana Temple located in Kaithwalia, East Champaran. This divine event will further strengthen our faith, culture and eternal pride."
