Digital Desk, New Delhi. Giving information about important maintenance work at Dwarka Water Treatment Plant (Dwarka WTP), Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has announced that water supply will be affected for a total of 48 hours from 11 am on 25 February 2026 to 11 am on 27 February 2026. This work is being done to connect the newly laid 1500 mm diameter twin raw water line with the existing 1500 mm twin raw water main in Bhagya Vihar area.

Water supply will remain disrupted in these areas

Due to this, water supply in Dwarka and many surrounding areas will be completely closed or will have very low pressure. The affected areas include Dwarka Sub City, Mahavir Enclave, Vijay Enclave, Uttam Nagar Colonies, Puchhanpur, Lakshmi Vihar, Bijwasan, Chhawla, Goyla Dairy, Nangloi, Matiala, Palam, Kapashera, Najafgarh Town and surrounding villages, Dhulseers, Kakrola, Utam Nagar, Vikaspuri, Rajpur, Madangir, Anand Vihar, Shyam Vihar, Nilothi, West Vihar, Rajouri Garden, IGI Airport and Yashobhoomi (ICCC).

Overall, more than 50 areas will be affected. The Water Board has appealed to the residents to store enough water in advance as per requirement. Water tankers will be available in case of emergency.
