Jagran correspondent, Patna. The effect of fog and mild cold will remain in Bihar. The weather of surrounding areas including Patna will remain dry due to west wind.
According to Meteorological Center Patna, there is a possibility of dense fog in the morning and evening in the northern parts of the state, East and West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhepura, Supaul, Araria and Purnia districts.
It is expected to be partly cloudy with wind speed of 30-40 km per hour during the 24 hours. There is a possibility of one to three degree drop in the minimum temperature of the state.
A cyclonic circulation persists over Northeast Bangladesh and adjoining areas up to 1.5 km above sea level. Due to this, there will be fog in the northern parts.
On Sunday, the weather remained dry and mild cold with fast movement of west wind in Patna and surrounding areas. Kishanganj recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 9.3 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature recorded in the capital was 13.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature of the capital was recorded the highest in 20 years.
The lowest visibility was recorded in Motihari at 150 metres. A decline was recorded in the minimum temperature in 10 districts including Patna. The maximum temperature of Patna was 25.5 degree Celsius and Kaimur recorded the highest temperature of 28.9 degree Celsius.
Except Motihari, Forbesganj and Kishanganj, increase in maximum temperature was recorded in rest of the districts including Patna.
