Jagran correspondent, Bettiah, Jagdishpur. West champaran news: There was a sensation in the entire area when the dead body of a youth was found hanging from a tree on Tuesday morning in Baharanpur Pakdiya village ward number 11 of the police station area.

The deceased has been identified as Naresh Prasad (35), father of Chhathu Prasad. Naresh's body was found hanging from a jackfruit tree, about 15 steps away from his house, with the help of a noose of his saree.

According to family members, Naresh worked as a painter and had returned home from Rishikesh about ten days ago. On Monday night at around 9 pm, all the family members had gone to sleep after having dinner.

Meanwhile, a call came on Naresh's mobile, after which he left the house. The people at home could not have any information about this.

At around 4:30 am on Tuesday morning, when Naresh's elder brother Umesh Prasad was going out for defecation, his eyes fell on the dead body hanging from a jackfruit tree. As soon as this scene was seen, there was screams in the house.

Information about the incident was immediately given to Jagdishpur police station. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, brought down the body and sent it to GMCH for post-mortem.

Jagdishpur police is investigating all aspects of the incident. The deceased left behind his wife Seema Devi and two sons Prem Sagar (10) and Deepanshu (8). After the incident, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
