White House calls India-US trade deal a 'historic victory' (Photo- Reuters)
ANI, Washington DC. Positive reactions have also come from America regarding the India-US trade agreement. White House Deputy Press Secretary Kush Desai called the agreement a historic victory and said it was a major achievement for American workers, farmers and industries.

In this context, Indian Ambassador to America Vinay Mohan Kwatra also praised the agreement and said that it will create vast opportunities for the economies and citizens of both the countries.
He described this partnership under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump as a new and encouraging step.
An important feature of the agreement was that India has got relief in tariff rates compared to Pakistan. Under the executive order issued by the US President on July 31, 2025, a 19 percent reciprocal tariff rate was announced for Pakistan, while India got the benefit of relatively lower rates.
