This is the reason why miscreants run away after committing incidents and the police just keeps on beating the scene. Till date, the police has not been able to identify, let alone uncover, the incident of the naked body of a woman found in Lahadra village on January 7.
The situation is more or less the same, till date the police has not been able to identify the body of an unknown woman found in Rajwahe near Alamnagar on March 19, 2024. When Dainik Jagran team did live reporting from Bahadurgarh police station area regarding police security, it was found missing from police post, check post etc.
This check post situated at Sehal intersection of Bahadurgarh was locked at 08:38 in the evening. After searching around, it was found that police personnel often come here for some time during the day. The rest of the time the lock remains hanging here. The CCTV camera installed there was also switched off.
There is a police post in Bahadurgarh town, on which many police personnel including Inspector are on duty. But when Dainik Jagran's team went here at 09:15 and saw, it was locked. There were some bikes parked in the courtyard.
Every day thousands of vehicles pass from Salarpur to Brajghat Highway via Palwara route to save toll. In such a situation, check posts have been made on Palwara mode. At 09:28, vehicles were seen passing through here, but there was no trace of police personnel even here.
There is also a checking point near Salarpur on the Garh-Bulandshahr road and Salarpur to Brajghat road. Barriers were seen installed here at 09:38, but police was not present here either.
Similarly, there is a check point near Gandungala on the border of Simbhaoli and Bahadurgarh police stations, but here too there was no sign of police, while bikers and other drivers were passing through here in the dark.
