Yamuna Crossing Shocked By Two Road Accidents: Rapido Driver Crushed By Uncontrolled Truck, Old Man Dies Due To Collision With Rickshaw

Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. Two people died in road accidents at two different places in Yamunapar. A speeding truck crushed a Rapido bike driver in Khajuri Khas police station area. The driver died in the accident. The deceased has been identified as Himanshu.

The second case is from Jagatpuri police station area. An e-rickshaw hit an elderly couple riding a scooter. Both were badly injured in the accident. Both were admitted to Dr. Hedgewar Hospital. Where the doctors declared the elderly woman Satnam Kaur dead. Her husband Rajendra Singh is undergoing treatment in the hospital. In both the accidents, the accused fled from the spot.

Himanshu lived with his family in Nand Nagari. He used to ride Rapido bike. He was taking Rapido bike at 4:30 pm on Tuesday evening. When he reached near the police camp on Khajuri Pushta, a truck hit him from behind. He was admitted to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital by ambulance, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Whereas Satnam Kaur lived with her family in Jagatpuri area. On Tuesday evening, she was going for some work riding a scooter with her husband. When she reached near Baba Karan Singh Gurudwara, an e-rickshaw hit her scooter from behind.
