Yogi Government Is Busy In Maintaining The Pace Of Development Of Agriculture Sector, Approved Supplementary Amount Of Rs 104 Crore

State Bureau, Lucknow. The state government is trying to maintain the pace of development in agriculture and allied sectors. In the supplementary budget on Monday, the government approved a supplementary amount of more than Rs 104 crore for the schemes of the Agriculture Department. This includes additional funds given for Seed Quality Control Scheme, National Agricultural Development Schemes. At the same time, Rs 25.15 crore has been approved for the cooperative sector related to agriculture, Rs 37.50 crore for dairy development and Rs 20.27 crore for the livestock department.

Rs 8.09 crore has been sanctioned under the Seed Quality Control Scheme in the supplementary budget. In this, Rs 1.95 crore will be spent on capital items. For the implementation of National Mission on Edible Oil, approval of Rs 5 crore and revenue item of Rs 4.46 has been given.

Apart from this, Rs 21.74 crore for National Food Security Mission, Rs 53 crore for National Agricultural Development Scheme, Rs 2 crore for construction of Agricultural Technical College in Banda Agricultural University, Rs 5 crore for various items of Agriculture Directorate and Rs 5 crore for purchase of vehicles, Rs 10 lakh for e-office in State Agricultural Management Institute Rehman Kheda, Rs 20 lakh for e-office in Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Research Council have also been approved.

Five crore rupees received for mumps disease control and diagnosis scheme

Under livestock development, five crore rupees for the control and diagnosis scheme of mastitis disease, Rs 6.50 crore rupees for green fodder production, Rs 1.37 crore rupees for the strengthening of Animal Biological Medicine Institute, two crore rupees for the frozen semen production center of Rehmankheda and one crore rupees for Babugarh Hapur center, Rs 45.50 lakh rupees for the operation and strengthening scheme of veterinary polyclinic, expansion and strengthening scheme of regional headquarters and regions. Rs 94.50 lakh has been sanctioned.

At the same time, Rs 1 crore was approved for the e-office in the Animal Husbandry Directorate and Rs 2 crore was also approved for the operation of two new colleges of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Veterinary Sciences University and Cow Research Institute, Mathura. 20 crores were approved for giving grants to milk unions in the cooperative sector, Rs. 11 crores for giving loan to PCDF for the operation of dairy projects in Meerut and Varanasi, Rs. 5 crores for hiring consultants for the marketing arrangements of PCDF and marketing support of Parag brand and a supplementary budget of Rs. 1.50 crores was approved for installing e-office system and ERP system in dairy plants.

In the horticulture and silk development sector, Rs 2 crore has been approved for the operation of common incubation centers under the Prime Minister's Micro Food Industry Upgradation Scheme, Rs 2.95 crore under the Chief Minister's Silk Development Scheme, Rs 21 lakh for the implementation of the Uttar Pradesh State Horticultural Export Promotion Scheme, Rs 20 crore for the implementation of the Chief Minister's State Horticultural Development Scheme and Rs 1.50 crore has been approved for the e-office system in the district and divisional offices of the Horticulture and Sericulture Department. At the same time, approval of Rs 400 crore was also given for giving loan to the sugar mills of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mills Association to pay the outstanding sugarcane price.
