Jagran correspondent, Bijnor. In village Budhanangla of police station area, miscreants attacked a villager. Due to which the villager got injured. It is alleged that the bullies came into the house at night and threatened them again and threatened to kill them.
The victim's elderly mother died two days after the incident. The victim alleges that his mother died of shock due to beating and bullying by the bullies. Police have registered a case of assault.
According to 40-year-old Pushpendra Kumar, son of Kunnu Singh, resident of village Budhanangla, he had gone to the grocery shop located near his house in the village at around 7 pm on January 29 to buy goods. It is alleged that village resident Imran son of Mehndi Hasan was drunk at the shop.
He started abusing Pushpendra without any reason. When he protested, the accused attacked him with a stick, causing serious injury to his leg. When people nearby saved him, he came home.
It is alleged that again at night the accused Imran and three-four people along with him entered the house and threatened to kill him if he did not complain to the police, later the accused absconded. The victim Pushpendra lodged a complaint with the police.
But on February 1, Pushpendra's elderly mother Angoori Devi, about 65 years old, died. Pushpendra and his relatives allege that his mother died of shock due to the bullies beating her and threatening her by entering the house. But the police has not taken any strict action, only registered a case against one accused in the assault.
Regarding this, Police Station Head Sanjay Kumar said that a case has been registered against the accused Imran, named on the complaint of the victim.
The victim's mother died later, the relatives have not even conducted the post-mortem. After the case was registered, allegations of mother's death due to shock have been made. The matter is being investigated, the accused will be arrested soon.
