The mother of the deceased has accused the girl and her relatives of torturing her son and instigating him to commit suicide. According to the mother, the girl was reunited with her relatives at night, even after this the son was brutally beaten and handed over to the police.
23-year-old Lalit Kashyap, resident of Akrampur, used to work as a laborer in a factory. About two years ago, he became friends with a young woman through Instagram, which turned into a deep closeness. Both started talking to each other on the phone. Lalit's mother Shivpati told that the girl went missing two days ago.
On this his relatives came to my house and accused the son of making the girl missing. According to the mother, she reached the girl's house with her son. The girl's relatives stopped the son there, asking him to search for his daughter. According to the mother, she left from there.
The son along with the girl's relatives got the girl searched. During this, the son was brutally beaten and his mobile was taken away. Not only this, son Lalit was handed over to the post police. Chowki police started interrogation. The girl was recovered from Kanpur at around 1 o'clock the same night.
According to the mother, the girl's relatives asked for Rs 12 lakh in the name of getting their son released from the police. The police released Lalit on Wednesday night. Lalit reached home and was found hanging in the room on Thursday morning. The mother has demanded action against the girl and her relatives. Hanging has been confirmed in the post mortem report. SP Jaiprakash Singh said that further action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report.

According to the mother, earlier the son had gone away with the girl. Although both had returned. After this he started sending his son to the factory for work. Since then he did not meet the girl. Villagers say that both of them used to talk to each other continuously on the phone.
