Jagran correspondent, Sirsa. A surprising case has come to light from Sirsa district of Haryana. Here a young man riding a car was beaten to death near village Salamkheda. Another youth was seriously injured in this deadly attack. The miscreants attacked with sharp weapons and also damaged the car.

According to the information, Gurmel Singh alias Lakkha (32), resident of village Desujodha and Gurvinder Singh resident of Dabwali, had come to village Salamkheda in an Alto car on Sunday night. When both of them were returning at around 9 pm, youths in another car hit their car and stopped it near Salamkheda.
After this, the accused attacked Gurmel and Gurvindra with sharp weapons and badly damaged the car and fled from the spot.
Youth dies during treatment
On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and both the injured were admitted to the Community Health Center of Odhan. When his condition became critical, he was referred to Sirsa and later to Agroha, where Gurmail Singh died during treatment on Monday morning. Treatment of injured Gurvinder Singh is going on.
The deceased Gurmel Singh was unmarried and has three brothers and sisters. The post-mortem of Gurmail Singh was done and the body was handed over to the family members.
Police busy searching for the attackers
In this case, Odhan police station has registered a case against six named and other accused. To arrest the accused, teams of Odhan police station as well as CIA are raiding possible hideouts.
