Youth Shot On Delhi-Dehradun Highway, Attacker Absconding, Police Starts Investigation

Jagran correspondent, Modipuram (Meerut). A young man riding in a car was shot in a dispute that broke out after road rage near Dabka Cut on Delhi-Dehradun Highway late on Thursday night. The bullet hit the young man in the neck. Kankarkheda police has admitted the injured to Subharti Hospital. His condition here remains critical. Police are searching for the attackers.

Investigation into the case continues

CO Daurala Prakash Chandra Aggarwal told that Asif, a resident of Gulavathi, Bulandshahr, and his friend Sagar Chaudhary had a dispute with Anand Hooda, a resident of Rohta, in front of Subharti two days ago. Both sides had threatened to see each other. Late on Thursday night, Asif was going from Kankarkheda to Partapur in a Thar car with Sagar Chaudhary. The car riders opened fire on them near Dabka Cut. A bullet hit Asif in the neck. The attackers fled.

Injured admitted to hospital

On information, the police admitted the injured to Subharti Hospital. CO Daurala Prakash Chandra Agarwal reached the spot with the police force and conducted investigation. Injured Asif was also interrogated. He said that the entire incident is being investigated. No report of the incident has been received.

Bike riding youth crushed by car, dies

On the other hand, 18-year-old Hrithik Kumar, son of Subhash Singh, resident of Shamli (Rampur Khedi), used to work in a salty factory in Partapur Udyogpuram. Late at night, Hrithik was going from the factory to a hotel in Ritahani to get food. While attempting to overtake a car on Delhi Road near Rithani-Ghopala turn, his Splendor bike collided with the divider. The police admitted him to the district hospital, where he died during treatment.
