61 year old man sentenced to five years in child pornography case in Ambala
Jagran correspondent, Ambala city. Dr. Manpal Ramawat's fast track court has sentenced a 61-year-old man to five years of imprisonment for sexually assaulting a ten-year-old girl. Along with this, a fine of Rs 10,000 has also been imposed on the culprit.
The culprit was doing paint work in the victim's house, where he closed the door and committed obscene acts. The court had recently declared the accused guilty. In the complaint given on November 6, 2023, a woman from Ambala city police station area had said that she was getting paint work done in the house. His mother-in-law was working downstairs. His brother-in-law and sister-in-law were in their room.
She had gone out for work. During this time the painter asked his daughter to bring water. The daughter gave the glass to the painter. The door was open because there was work going on at home.
Her daughter told that when she went to give a glass of water, the painter called her. After this he did obscene acts. The police had registered a case against Gurdeep alias Pappu of Kaith Majri on November 5 under Section 10 and 12 of the POCSO Act.
