Kundan Tiwari, Noida. Now a private agency will be used for cleaning the 320 toilets constructed by the authority, the agency will be selected soon. The selected agency will look after the cleanliness as well as maintenance of the toilets.
The financial burden on the agency in return for the work will be reduced through advertisements received from the authority. For this, the authority will hand over the right to advertise above the toilets for five years. The agency will have to deposit some part of the income from this advertisement in the account of the authority.
Now dirt in toilets will be washed with advertising money
Let us tell you that complaints are being received every day at the authority office that the toilets and urinals built by them are not being cleaned properly, most of the toilets are locked. The toilets which are clean are not being maintained properly and the taps and spigots installed in them are being stolen. Therefore the condition of toilets is bad.
The purpose with which Noida Authority has constructed toilets and urinals on such a large scale is to ensure that people do not litter everywhere in the city. That objective is not being achieved. The biggest reason for this is that the Public Health Department of the authority has not given the responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of these toilets to the dedicated contractor or agency.
The Public Health Department is cleaning it with its own contractors. Due to this, cleanliness in the sector and village is also affected because manpower is used here. To curb this, initiatives have been started on the instructions of Authority CEO Dr. Lokesh M. He has given in-principle approval to the Public Health Department to select a separate agency for all toilets and urinals.

A dedicated agency will be selected for toilets and urinals, which will be given the authority to advertise the toilets on non-LED basis for five years. The agency will deposit some part of the income from this in the authority account. Otherwise, a maintenance team will be deployed at the toilets from six in the morning to midnight, which will also do the cleaning.
