Al-Qaeda is plotting Islamic rule in India (Photo-X)
IANS, New Delhi. The terrorist organization Al-Qaeda is planning to implement radical Islamic governance system in India by using Afghanistan as its base. In this connection, Al-Qaeda has established a digital command in Afghanistan, from there it conducts anti-India activities.
ATS revealed important information
This information has come to light in the investigation of Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS). Maharashtra ATS has arrested Zubair Hangargekar, associated with Al-Qaeda, and interrogated him for a long time.
Zubair was under the deep influence of Al-Qaeda and was busy creating the organization's network in India. Various types of electronic devices recovered from Zubair revealed that Al-Qaeda is planning to spread fundamentalist ideology in India. He is planning to establish a government based on Islamic law (Caliphate rule) in India.
ATS investigation revealed that the terrorist organization has created a large infrastructure in Afghanistan to strengthen the fundamentalist ideology in the region. From there, he is spreading poisonous propaganda through internet media in many countries including India and is building his network in those countries.
Big revelation from device found near Zubair
Investigation of the device found with Zubair revealed that he also had contacts with people from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman working for Al-Qaeda. A large amount of inflammatory literature was found in Zubair's possession which he was trying to distribute especially among the youth to radicalize them and have a corrupt mentality.
The devices found with Zubair were being operated through eight different identities. Four of these devices were being operated with identity documents from Afghanistan while the remaining four were being operated with ID proof from Hong Kong.
IB is also investigating this matter
The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is also investigating the case. Zubair contacted people in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra for the development of radical ideology. Some of them were also sent inflammatory literature and promised to spread the ideology. Now agencies are busy gathering information about such people.
