Araria: APAR ID Not Made For 1.13 Lakh Children, Education Department Asks For Clarification, Students Will Face Problems

Jagran correspondent, Araria. Araria's name is also included in a dozen districts which did not generate huge number of children even after Aadhaar verification of more than one lakh children. This was revealed after a review in the state level VC on Tuesday. State Project Director Naveen Kumar has sought clarification from the DEOs of 12 other districts including Araria regarding the delay in this. Also, reply has been sought within two days of receiving the letter. In the letter, he has ordered to generate 100% APAAR by January 25.

He also warned of departmental action in case of negligence. The Director said in the order letter that in the VC organized by the Chief Secretary on Tuesday, a review was conducted with all the DEOs regarding the creation of Apar ID. Based on the report of January 19, it was found that despite the children's Aadhaar being verified, AAP is not being generated. Still more than one lakh children are Aadhaar verified, whose Aapar ID has not been generated.

There are 6,10,473 children enrolled in schools in Araria district. In this, Aadhaar of 4,49,778 children has been verified. In which till January 19, AAPAR ID of only 3,36,772 children has been generated. While Aadhar of 1,13,006 children is verified, Apar ID has not been generated.

Similarly, Aadhaar of 1,35,832 children in Katihar district, 1,86,633 in Patna, East Champaran 1,96,173, Samastipur 1,63,171, 1,61,842 in Madhubani district, 1,26,833 in Siwan district is verified, but AAP has not been generated. Apart from this, in West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Gaya and Saran districts, despite Aadhaar verification of more than one lakh children, huge number of IDs have not been created. Taking this seriously, the Education Department has ordered to generate 100% Apar ID by January 25.
