Political Battle Over National Law University; PDP MLA Writes Letter To CM, Reminds Him Of Promise To Build It In Budgam

The controversy regarding the establishment of National Law University has deepened. PDP MLA Agha Syed Muntajir Mehdi has written a letter to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah asking him to fulfill his promise of establishing it at Ompura Budgam. The MLA stressed that the Chief Minister's promise was a big step towards regional development, and changing the location would be injustice to the people of Budgam, thereby creating confusion.

In UP, Tablets Were Given To The Girl Students Of Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya For Studies, It Started From Gorakhpur And Maharajganj.

The Social Welfare Department has signed an agreement with Madad Foundation for inclusive development and digital empowerment of girl students. Under the pilot project, a total of 40 tablets were provided to Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalayas of Gorakhpur and Maharajganj. Aseem Arun said that this initiative is to make the girl students technically proficient and self-reliant, which is in line with the spirit of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and Digital India of the government.

Police have arrested two more accused, bank managers Sanjeev Gupta and Varun Sharma, in the GST bogus firm scam in Shahjahanpur. These accused used to buy fake registrations for Rs 23 thousand and sell them for Rs 65 thousand. The gang used to create fake firms using students' documents by pretending to give loans on Instagram, due to which input tax credit worth Rs 10.78 lakh was stolen. Three arrests have already been made in this case.

Fire In Pitampura Village: Two Including The Owner Died Due To Fire In A Cardboard Warehouse, The Adjacent Warehouse And Dairy Were Also Engulfed In Flames.

A massive fire broke out in a cardboard warehouse in Pitampura village of Delhi late on Monday night, in which two people including the warehouse owner were burnt to death. Three others sustained burn injuries. The fire spread so fast that it engulfed another nearby warehouse and dairy, due to which a calf also died. Nine fire tenders brought the fire under control in seven hours. Police investigation is ongoing.
