A major theft took place in the deserted house of junior engineer Kunil Kumar in E Home Panorama, Purnia. The thieves broke the kitchen window and stole jewelery worth about Rs 10-11 lakh and Rs 50 thousand in cash. Kunil Kumar was on duty and the family had gone to the village. Police have registered an FIR and are conducting raids in search of suspects on the basis of CCTV footage.
