Break into the house by breaking the kitchen window
Samvad Sahayak, Purnia East (Purnia). Criminals have committed a major incident of theft in E Home Panorama, a posh area located on Bypass Road under Mufassil police station area. Thieves targeted the deserted house of Kunil Kumar, a junior engineer working in Purnia Municipal Corporation, and made away with jewelery and cash worth about Rs 10 to 11 lakh.
The victim, junior engineer Kunil Kumar, told that he had gone to the office for his duty at around 9 am on Wednesday morning. His wife and children had gone to their native village, so the house was completely empty. Taking advantage of this, the criminals defied the security system and committed theft.
All the stuff in the rooms was found scattered.
When Kunil Kumar returned home at around 8 pm, the main door was closed, but on going inside, all the stuff in the rooms was found scattered and the lockers of the shelves were broken. Investigation found that the thieves had entered the house by breaking the glass of the kitchen window instead of the main door.
The thieves targeted the bedroom cupboard, in which Rs 50,000 in cash and his wife's precious gold and silver jewelery worth lakhs of rupees were missing.

According to the victim, the total value of the stolen property is around Rs 11 lakh. As soon as information about the incident was received, Mofussil police station reached the spot with its team. The police have scanned the CCTV cameras installed nearby, in which pictures of some suspects have been captured. In the footage, the criminals are seen entering through the window and leaving with the bag.
Mufassil police station incharge Sudin Ram said, 'An FIR has been registered on the written complaint of the victim junior engineer. We have CCTV footage and investigation is underway and different police teams are conducting raids and the culprits will be arrested soon.
