330 Trees Will Be Cut To Build Two Underpasses On Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, 265 Trees Will Be Transplanted.

The Noida Authority is constructing two underpasses on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. For this, permission has been given to cut 330 trees, out of which 265 trees will be transplanted. The Forest Department has set a condition of planting ten times the trees in place of the cut trees. These underpasses will provide relief to many sectors and villages from traffic jams and improve connectivity.

STPs Installed In Many Societies Of Ghaziabad Disregarding Rules, AOA Alleges Negligence

Apartment Owners Association AOA alleges that builders have installed low capacity STPs in violation of rules, due to which sewage is not being treated completely. Complaints have been registered in societies like Gaur Cascades and Aditya World City about STPs being below capacity, thereby violating environmental norms.
