Belodrome Cycle Competition Begins In Uttarakhand, Start Delayed Due To Fog

National Track Cycle Championship started at Manosarkar Stadium located in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. The competition started late by two and a half hours due to low visibility due to fog. President of Uttarakhand Cycle Association, Vimal Chaudhary said that the qualifying competitions of sub-junior are going on. About 685 players from 25 states are participating in the competition, in which players from Punjab, UP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Odisha participated on the first day.

Bharat Gaurav Special pilgrimage train run by Railways returned to Saharsa on 18 December. There were about 700 pilgrims on board this train, who visited many religious places. Kapurthala: Father Dies, Son Injured In Car-scooty Collision

Father died and son got injured in a collision between a car and a scooter near Nawan Pind Getwala in Kapurthala. Passersby took both of them to the hospital, where father Kulwant Singh died. Son Nishan Singh was discharged after treatment. Police have registered the case and started investigation and the search for the absconding car driver is ongoing.
