Jagran correspondent, Mainpuri. Due to emergency repairs, Railways has decided to keep the Bhanwat intersection crossing in the city closed for four days. Due to repair work on the only main road connecting Mainpuri to Kishni, traffic will be completely closed. Senior Divisional Engineer, North Central Railway has written a letter to the DM demanding arrangement of a temporary route to keep the traffic smooth.
North Central Railway will start emergency repair work from Saturday
North Central Railway, Prayagraj Division is carrying out emergency repair work of all its crossings. All the crossings on Tundla-Farrukhabad route have been selected for this. Senior Divisional Engineer, Railway Path, Surendra Yadav says that due to emergency repair work at level crossing number 4-B Km 1260/10-11 from 8 am by the higher officials of Railways, the gate will be completely closed. Since there is only a single gate here, permission for traffic cannot be granted from here. This is the main crossing which connects Mainpuri city with Kishni, Bhanwat and Kurra route. More than two thousand vehicles travel through this route every day.
Senior Section Engineer Railway sent a letter to DM demanding arrangements for temporary divert route.
In the letter sent to the DM, he has said that an alternative route should be arranged so that normal traffic is not affected until the emergency repairs are done by December 9. So that the movement of vehicles remains smooth.
Can use this route
Vehicles going towards Kishni route will pass through Ishan river bridge via Diwani Tiraha. One can go through the underpass from Krishi Vigyan Kendra road and reach Kishni road from Yaduvansh Nagar road.
