Bihar SI Exam: Exam Will Be Held At 10 Centers On 18-21 January, Joint Briefing Of DM-SP

Samvad Sutra, Banka. With the aim of conducting the Police Sub Inspector examination in a clean, peaceful and malpractice-free environment, a joint briefing was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium under the joint chairmanship of DM Navdeep Shukla and SP Upendra Nath Verma.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts on 18 January and 21 January 2026. The first shift is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift is scheduled from 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM.

The examination will be conducted at a total of 10 examination centers in the district, including R.M.K. Inter School, Banka; MRD +2 High School, Aliganj; +2 ss Girls High School, Gandhi Chowk; TRPS High School, Kakwara; Upgraded Higher Secondary School, Fatehpur-Kathel; CMS Higher Secondary School, Shahpur; Public +2 High School, Sarvodayanagar; Adarsh ​​Girls High School, Amarpur; SNS High School, Mohanpur (Barahat) and Dr. Harihar Chaudhary High School, Barahat.

For peaceful conduct of the examination, Static Magistrate-cum-Observer, Zonal-cum-Patrol Magistrate and adequate police force have been deputed at all the centres. The Zonal Magistrate will remain constantly on tour and monitor the examination system.

Intensive investigation and strictness on misconduct

Physical examination of every candidate will be done before entering the examination center or room. Strict action will be taken if any candidate is found with written material, plain paper, mobile phone, Bluetooth, calculator, digital diary or any other electronic device. Scrutiny of female candidates will be done by female police personnel.

There will be continuous inspection of examination rooms and halls by the Static Magistrate. Except for the Center Superintendent and Assistant Center Superintendent, it will be mandatory for all other employees to submit their mobile phones before the commencement of the examination.

Establishment of District Control Room

To maintain law and order during the examination period, a District Control Room has been established in the Sub-Divisional Office premises, which will be under the control of Sub-Divisional Officer, Banka. The telephone number of the control room has been fixed at 06424-222225.
