State Bureau, Patna. Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party (OFBJP) meeting was held in London on Saturday. During the meeting, a victory celebration was also organized on the landslide victory of NDA in Bihar.
There was also discussion on investment of industrial units in Bihar. OFBJP convenor Prashant Kumar said that talks are being held continuously with many global industrialists including Gautam Adani, Anil Aggarwal, Dr. Rajmohan Pillai, Ranjit Bhatuka for investment in Bihar.
Our common objective is long-term investment, industrial expansion and large-scale employment generation in Bihar. Industries Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal was also associated with this program in online mode.
The Industries Minister said that Bihar has to play a leading role in building a developed India through industrial development, investment and employment generation.
Entrepreneur Dr Rajmohan Pillay said he is committed to promoting responsible industrial investment using international networks and experience. This is a very opportune time to invest in Bihar. MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy also participated in the program.
Preparation for organizing an event on the lines of investor meet with consultants
The Industries Department is now preparing to organize a consultant meet on the lines of investor meet. A consultant meet will be organized in Patna after January 15 next year.
This meet will be attended by consultants who prepare investment proposals for big entrepreneurs across the country. Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal gave information to this effect.
The Industries Minister said that he has been instructed in this regard after holding a meeting with the department officials. A large number of entrepreneurs are contacting Bihar with investment proposals.
The objective of the consultant meet is to provide information directly to the entrepreneurs through them about what kind of facilities and subsidies the government is providing for setting up industries in Bihar.
They will also be given information about the availability of land. Information about how big the market is for different clusters in Bihar will also be given.
The Industries Minister said that the Industries Director gave a presentation in the meeting on the immense investment potential in Bihar. Information was given in it as to how policy based facilities are being provided at the government level for setting up industries.
