Balram, resident of Bhatpura Chandu village, used to work as a labourer. On Thursday morning, when his brother Raju came to call him to go to work, the door did not open. After knocking for a long time the children opened the latch. When we went inside, Balram's blood soaked body was lying on the cot in the verandah. There was a deep wound on the throat. Pooja was sitting on the ground and crying. When asked, she said that someone murdered her in the night, on which Pawan told that in the night, cousin brother Chhutua (Aadesh), a resident of Pihani, Hardoi, had come with two people.
He was sleeping in the room with his siblings. When I woke up at night, I started looking at my mobile. Meanwhile, when he heard his father screaming, he came out. Saw that mother was holding father's feet. While Chhutua was hitting something on his neck. Mother asked him to go inside, saying papa was getting injected. He got scared and went to his room and slept. When I woke up in the morning, father's dead body was on the cot, mother was not saying anything.
Raju told that sister-in-law was having an affair with Aadesh for one and a half years. She had gone with him thrice. Came back after police intervention. Told my brother to get a divorce, but he was not ready for the sake of the children. Raju told that about 12 years ago his brother was married to Pooja, a resident of Bankeganj of Lakhimpur.
Based on their complaint, the police have registered an FIR for murder against Pooja, Adesh and two unknown people. CO Praveen Malik said that the woman is accusing Adesh of murder. Investigation is being done. ASP Rural Diksha Bhanware also inspected the spot. He has given instructions to arrest the absconding accused as soon as possible.
