A delegation of DDRWA under the leadership of President NP Singh met Greater Noida Authority ACEO Soumya Srivastava and ACEO and Srilakshmi VA and discussed the basic problems. During the Sector 150 incident, a letter was handed over talking about the irregularities of the government, administration and authority.
It was said in the letter that it is necessary to form a QRT (Quick Response Team) in the authority to take immediate action on any incident. It also talked about the need for helicopters at the authority level to prevent incidents like big potholes, fire in high-rise societies and Sector 150.
ACEO Soumya Srivastava said that a meeting of all three authorities has been held in this regard. Instructions in this regard have also been given by the Chief Minister. Houses will be provided for NDRF on the instructions of the Chief Minister. There will be accommodation arrangements for about 30 officers and employees.
If there is an NDRF team in the city, help will be available soon in case of emergency. Appreciated the suggestion of helicopter and asked to put it before the CEO. Engineers of all circles have been instructed to conduct surveys for roads and U-turns and submit reports. Regarding covering the drains of the city, it was told that all the engineers have been instructed to make the walls of the drains at least three feet. Asked to give report on the problem of waterlogging.
Regarding proper transportation facilities in cities and villages in the areas of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority, it was said that all three authorities have prepared a proposal and with the inauguration of the airport, operation of 20 EV buses will be started. Told on Citizen Charter that the instructions of the Chief Minister will be started soon. During this, DDRWA President NP Singh, Vice President Anil Kumar Singh, General Secretary Sher Singh Bhati, Satbir Mukhiya, Mamta Tiwari, Satpal Nagar, Shripal Fauji were present.
