A video of Naresh Singh Baghel, a policeman posted at Kotar police station in Satna district, is becoming increasingly viral on social media, which has raised serious questions on the functioning of the police. In the viral video, Baghel is seen openly threatening her husband Anurag Singh, the Sarpanch of Akauna Panchayat. In the video, he can be heard saying – “Complain to the Prime Minister also, we will investigate.”
Complaint registered in CM helpline
Actually, Shraddha Singh, the woman sarpanch of Akauna Panchayat, had lodged a complaint against the concerned policeman in the CM helpline. It is alleged that after the complaint, now he and his family are being pressurized and intimidated into withdrawing the complaint. The Sarpanch has made serious allegations against the policeman like corruption, misuse of position and mental torture.
Allegations of raid at night, mental pressure
Female Sarpanch Shraddha Singh says that Naresh Singh Baghel had claimed to save 25 people from going to jail. It is alleged that with the aim of creating pressure, the police raid his house at night in the name of investigation, due to which his discharge of duties as a public representative is being affected.

The investigation was handed over to the sub-inspector
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the investigation of the entire episode has been handed over to Sub Inspector Kedar Prasad Verma. Now the results of the investigation based on the viral video and allegations are awaited.
